The peace and quiet of the Bow River Valley, exclusive riverside living and golf course surrounding the community to top it off—anyone would think that such top-shelf amenities are only available to corporate executives and the like who can afford them.

But Innovations by Jayman’s newly introduced show homes in Chaparral Valley reveal how such an exclusive lifestyle can still be affordable.

Innovations' semi-detached homes cater to every need of a quiet suburban lifestyle with metropolitan flair and panache. Their two impeccably urban show homes have been popular not only for their richly appointed designs but for their tremendous affordability as well.

A double-sized detached garage at the back and a friendly porch in front combine the need for convenience and streetside appeal that is valued by most new home buyers.

“Living in Chaparral Valley means one thing—a lifestyle,” says area manager, Nicole Bull. “Where else can you find in the city a community with all these green spaces and a couple of golf courses to boot, yet remain just a short drive to downtown?”

The biggest advantage Innovations offers is its affordability. “Imagine living in this secluded community with all these amenities at just a starting price of $328,000. Our line of semi-detached homes is designed to fit the needs of a wide range of buyers and fit their budgets as well,” says Bull.

Innovations’ homes in Chaparral Valley feature a modern, spacious, friendly and timeless appeal, plus a terrific location near Fish Creek Park, the Blue Devil golf course and the Bow River pathway system. “It really is quite a bargain,” Bull adds.

It goes without saying that every home is built to Jayman's exacting Built Green™ standards, and all models give buyers the peace of mind they are living in a home that not only was built using environmentally conscious methods but also is highly energy efficient leaving less of an environmental footprint than the norm. “We are part of Genstar’s e-community and each home is wired for the latest high-tech electronic devices,” Bull says.

The 1,358-square-foot Sorrento show home is a perfect example of their refined urban chic design that Innovations has mastered to a T. Its feature wall of geometric patterns in the living room gives the main floor a funky vibe and combines nicely with the elegant tile flooring. The big windows throughout give life and an aura of natural spaciousness.

The step-down half-bath is unobtrusive and stylish; the open layout mirrors the spaciousness of the surrounding Bow Valley and is perfect for entertaining with its huge central island.

“The upper level options suit all lifestyle needs. Create a loft for quiet time or enjoy the luxury of a full ensuite with a corner tub off the bedroom,” Bull adds. “There is a lot of flexibility in our floorplans and buyers have a lot of leeway in personalizing their home to suit their needs.”

Designed in the stylishly urban and youthful SOHO theme, the show home still surprisingly attracts a lot of mature buyers looking to downsize. “The Sorrento was meant to attract young professionals but lately we have found that a lot of empty nesters and those looking to downsize have been attracted to the model because it suits their lifestyle needs,” Bull says.

Of course, its calming location—far from the hurly burly of city life—may have a lot to do with it. This quiet corner of Calgary features a wealth of natural green space; residents here are free to enjoy a stroll along the Bow River pathway system, a jog through nearby Fish Creek Park, or a quiet afternoon on one of several lots backing onto the neighbouring Blue Devil golf course.

Chaparral Valley families will enjoy access to two schools in Lake Chaparral, and shopping on Macleod Trail and Deerfoot Trail.

Chaparral Valley will be limited to 150 acres with about 600 homes, 219 of them as single-family homes. “The surrounding areas are protected from further development, so act fast to secure your home in the valley,” Bull says.
