Hopewell Residential Communities is about to bring yet another distinctive community to Calgary. On July 17, the award-winning developer held an event celebrating the ground breaking of their
newest community, Mahogany.

Surrounded by lush green fields and blue skies, the white pavilion shading the jazz band and the numerous attendees of the celebration, provided a stark contrast to the CAT tractor just metres away.

The first shovels of dirt signified the first step towards the creation of what is anticipated to be one of Calgary’s most prominent lakeside communities. This 1,300-acre master-planned community will include a 62-acre freshwater lake that will be designed for residents’ enjoyment and use during all four seasons. As well there is to be an abundance of park spaces, extensive pathway systems and a natural wetlands area. The development of Mahogany is expected to address a way of life and provide a place to call home.

Four builders will be represented in the first portion of this amazing community. Jayman MasterBUILT, Sabal Homes, Trico Homes and Stepper Custom Homes, are all renowned for their innovative designs and excellence in craftsmanship and customer service, which gives you an idea of what you can expect from homes in Mahogany.

This elegant lakeside community will boast tree-lined boulevards and distinct architecture, and will incorporate various styles of homes from the initial front-attached garage product, to lakefront, estate and laned lots, and of course luxury and lifestyle multi-family homes. Mahogany will be the embodiment of a true community, offering something for every lifestyle, and above all comfortable living with an abundance of amenities to enjoy.

Marion Murray, Hopewell’s Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing, says that the community is all this and much more. “The Mahogany plan embraces innovation, creativity, sustainable practices and an all-inclusive approach to community planning,” says Murray. “This project represents a significant milestone in the history and growth of our company and we are very excited to move one step closer to realizing our vision.” NL
