ALBI HOMES has been creating beautiful residences for over twenty four years, and using the same specs, trades and design teams as in their estate level homes, has recently introduced Albi Arrival – a concept that is “bringing Albi into the move-up or executive class of homes,” explains Brian French, Sales Associate with Albi Homes Ltd.

“We’ve had so many people coming into the neighbourhood to see us because they are very happy we are building the quality of homes they have seen Albi build in the estate areas in Calgary.”

Jason Mauro, Director of Product Development for Albi Homes adds, “It took a lot of time to design this concept.  Research and development showed us what consumers are looking for.  We’ve created more value and this has allowed us to move into the second buyer market.  It’s a slam dunk!  Consumers have told us we have hit the mark with these homes.”

The Manhattan, at 2,408 square feet, shows beautifully, as does its sister show home, The Soho, at 2,159 square feet.  Both homes are indicative of the elegance and quality associated with all Albi Homes.  Standard features include rounded interior archways, a Whirlpool dishwasher, and stove with overhead microwave, full tile backsplash in the kitchen, French pantry door with reeded glass insert, drop in stainless steel sink, 400 to 650 square feet of hardwood, dependent on plan, 3 ½ inch window casings, 4 ½ inch baseboards, 36 inch ‘Majestic’ gas fireplace with decorative drywall and tile face, a Kohler soaker tub in the master ensuite, nine foot main floor ceilings, and oversized garage. Albi’s signature appointments of wider staircases and hallways are also found.  Topping it off, each client receives four hours of design time with one of Albi’s interior designers.

Both homes have walk out lower levels, decks off the main level, and back onto a generous greenspace and extensive pathway system, highlighting the view of Wildflower Pond.  Hopewell, the developer of Copperfield, is planning to complete the natural wetland and surrounding natural open spaces by the end of the season.

Upgrades are available. “All homes being built right now have granite countertops because our granite package has outstanding pricing,” states Brian. In The Manhattan, gorgeous granite, black appliances and the classically styled chestnut stained cherry cabinetry coordinate beautifully. “The Manhattan has approximately $19,000 worth of upgrades,” which is quite low compared to other show home specs, says Brian.  The washer, dryer and fridge are included in these upgrades, as are the rounded corners found throughout the house.

Windows, plentiful in The Manhattan and The Soho, are strategically placed to take advantage of the natural light and views, but also allow privacy, as found in The Manhattan’s “pocket office”: windows above the cabinetry and desk, the hallway between the spectacular bonus room, furnished as a media room, and the two additional bedrooms on the upper level.

Prices start from the low $400,000s.  As of the beginning of June, one walk-out lot remained, but “the next phase of land coming out in July has a variety of lots,” to choose from including those with sunshine basements, which allow larger windows, more walk-outs, as well as level lots, says Brian.

If you have been looking for a superbly designed, styled, and thought out home saying, “I have arrived!” you have reached your destination in Cooperleaf with Albi Arrival!

Albi’s two show homes are located at 139 Copperfield Crescent SE.  To find them, take Deerfoot Trail to 130th Avenue SE, turn right on 52nd Street, then turn left at McIvor Boulevard and follow the signs.   NL
