Blending inherent beauty with an old-meets-new flavor and the exclusive architectural designs of Homes by Avi, The Carma community of Tuscany meanders through an abundance of natural ravines and winding pathways, leading to over 170 acres of local parks and playgrounds.

With 80 per cent of its homes backing onto green space, Tuscany Springs is nestled between estate-level communities and surrounded by forest. While it is close to downtown and major thoroughfares, it is far enough removed to provide a sense of seclusion and privacy.

This is a neighborhood you can really get excited about. Three sensational Homes by Avi show homes stand among a unique and inviting streetscape rich in deep colors, such as red, dark khaki brown, and grays with tree-lined streets and quiet cul-de-sacs.

These homes have real character. Wide covered verandas plus stone and brick accents help make the homes very distinctive. They were specifically designed for the wider lots that Tuscany Springs has to offer.

Charron Ungar is Homes by Avi’s vice president of product development. “This is the first type of product of this kind that Homes by Avi has completed. We moved the garage and blended it into the elevation rather than have it as the major focus like you see in the traditional housing concept. Instead, we brought the elevation of the home out towards the street.  We’ve combined the home and garage with architectural details in three significant styles: Craftsman, Prairie, and Tudor. We’ve incorporated steeper roof pitches so these homes have more street presence. Darker cladding material and a strong attention to architectural detailing really help give the area a strong architectural flavor.

“Inside, by increasing the width of the home, you end up having a lot more room to circulate,” adds Ungar. “The feeling is one of space. We’ve created plans that have brought in a lot of attention with regards to flow. You’re able to walk in and see wide-open foyers leading into large wide spaces, with windows overlooking the exterior green space. It’s bright and airy.”

The 1,577 square-foot Abbotsford is a great home for those who see the kitchen as the place to be. Its galley kitchen has the option for adding another 180 square feet to enlarge the kitchen, thus allowing for a massive pantry for the competent chef. Along with the 1,648 square-foot Granville and the 1,716 square-foot Belmont, each home comes with a kitchen nook and flex room, large comfortable bedrooms, and an upgraded en suite with a soaker tub connected to the shower. Some of the added features include large kitchen islands, second floor laundry areas, and lots of bright natural light from wider windows in both the front and rear of each home.

A visit to the 5000 square-foot Avi Selection Center will help you visualize interior and exterior design choices by seeing, touching, and feeling. You can custom choose finishings, doors, plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bath cabinetry, accessories, lighting, and a host of other features that will make your home exclusively yours.

Surrounded by four exceptional golf courses (Valley Ridge, Lynx Ridge, The Links of Glen Eagles, and Cochrane Golf Club), this community has quick and easy access to world class skiing, hiking, shopping, and a host of recreational activities.

Three major thoroughfares converge at Tuscany: Country Hills Boulevard, Stoney Trail, and Crowchild Trail. To visit the Tuscany Springs showhomes from Stoney Trail, turn onto Tuscany Boulevard then right at Tuscany Way to connect with Tusslewood Drive.
