Making a good first impression is always important, and when you are a young homebuilder looking to make its mark in a community, it is doubly crucial.

Consider that important first step accomplished for Luxuria Homes, as its show home in Legacy — Valentia II — has definitely made quite an impact in this estate community in the southeast.

With the help of Gioia Interiors, elegance and opulence blend with functional style in this 2,401-square-foot family home. A loving attention to detail — from its designer stone accented exterior to its well-put-together open concept interior — creates a stylistic symphony
of family-oriented comfort and grandeur. It has an additional 800 square-feet of developed space in the basement that brings to bear its full potential for family living.

Hap Randev, Luxuria Homes’ Vice-President for Sales and Strategy, says they are quite proud of how Valentia II came out, pointing out that it was specifically designed for Legacy and reflects the vibrancy of this young community by WestCreek Developments.

“We are excited to say that people have been very enthusiastic about the new show home,” she says. “People love the fresh design with its unique touches such as the cozy library and spacious mudroom. They also gravitate towards our messaging of custom homes at
affordable prices and are truly blown away by all the standard features that are included in our homes.”

Luxuria Homes has been building homes in Alberta and surrounding areas for the past 20 years, but the builder feels that coming into Legacy is the next step up in their growth.

“The response from people has been incredible, they love that they have the ability to customize right from the blueprint, and cannot believe all of the luxury features which are included as standards in our homes.  We are thrilled with the response to our show home
opening and have been fortunate to have quite a few sales already,” Randev says.

Grace and elegance are very much in evidence throughout this estate style family home. “Our Valentia II is designed with a modern European Farmhouse interior while the exterior boasts elegant French Country touches. As with all our homes, this particular plan maximizes usable living space with a fresh and inviting design,” Randev says.

As with every other Luxuria Homes offering, “luxury comes standard” in the Valentia II. The home’s French Country exterior complements the stately streetscape of Legacy’s estate community. “Legacy is a great place to live and raise a family,” Randev says. “It is a community built to last generations with all the necessary amenities nearby while still maintaining its natural environment. It has a small-town neighbourly feel that you don’t often find in new communities anymore.”

The kitchen is the beating heart of the home. Designed to amaze and to entertain, the wide-plank engineered hardwood flooring, one-and-a-quarter-inch quartz countertops, full-length designer tile backsplash and high ceilings combine to give it a rich, warm feel. Function is not far behind with the tons of storage space provided and the extended eating ledge on the large centre island is perfect for busy families.

The vaulted ceiling of the bonus room adds to the grand appeal of the Valentia II, and this area at the top of the stairs provides the perfect environment for families to gather for movie nights or for playing video or board games. It is situated at the top of the stairs and provides a buffer between the master bedroom and two other bedrooms to afford each family member a sense of privacy.

The luxurious master ensuite is designed for relaxing comfort and features his-and-hers sinks along the full-length vanity, a sexy 10-millimetre glass shower stall, a stand-alone tub and a separate water closet. “We created our standard finishes package based on the feedback we received from our clients, our standards include all of their needs and most of their wants. Because of that, we can confidently state that our clients typically spend less than $5,000 on actual upgrades,” Randev says.

The brilliant design touches that permeate the home are even more apparent in the main bath with its blue shiplap feature wall and two sinks with bronze taps and matching light fixtures. The functionality of the home also comes through in the spacious second floor laundry and unique library with built-in shelving.

The lovely developed basement with wet bar and tons of built-in shelving puts the finishing touch to a truly astounding home. The Valentia II is at $835,000, and Luxuria Homes offers homes in Legacy starting from $475,000.
