Founded in 1982 by Tom Mauro, this award-winning company prides itself on the quality and craftsmanship of the homes they build.  Arriving from Italy in his early years, Tom quickly learned his carpentry trade from his brother-in-law. Building one home at a time, Tom soon developed a company that would continue to grow.

In keeping with the Italian culture of its’ founder, the homes crafted by Albi portray a timeless architecture portraying the the pride that the company was founded on.   That was 27 years ago and the rest is history. 

Giving back to the community has been a key foundation for the Albi family over the past 27 years, including spearheading two very successful Miracle Homes resulting in 100% of the proceeds going to the Children’s 

Hospital and YWCA’s Native Women Shelter.  

Now 27 years young Albi has over 100 employees, and is building in many of Calgary's most prestigious communities including; Tuscany in Calgary's North West, Aspen Estates and the Terraces of Springbank in the South West, Auborn Bay, Cranston and Estates of Elgin Village in MacKenzie Towne, in the South East.

Among Albi's many accolades and awards, they coveted the best New Single-Detached Production Home between 1,500 sq. ft. and 2,200 sq. ft. for their Bristo. home in Auborn Bay at the National Awards Conference held in Quebec City in February 2009.
