Brookfield spreads Christmas cheer
One of Calgary’s biggest homebuilders teams up with the city’s hottest interior designer and its most popular restaurants and lounges to bring new ideas in holiday décor and cocktail mixes to really bring the Christmas spirit in your Christmas parties.
This holiday season Brookfield Homes has teamed up with Calgary’s “go-to” interior designer, Aly Velji and the hottest restaurants and lounges in the city, including Melrose Café and Bar, Alloy Dining, Craft Beer Market and JAROblue Tapas and Lounge, to provide some holiday home décor and cocktail tips to Calgarians.
“We know the holiday season can be stressful,” says Tiffany Ardolino, Marketing Manager of Brookfield Homes. “By teaming up with Aly and Calgary’s best restaurants, we hope to alleviate some of that stress and help Calgarians ring in the festive season.”
Aly Velji – whose team won the recent My RONA Home reality show - has decorated four of Brookfield Homes’ showhomes in Cranston (Single Family and Mosaic Cranston Townhomes) with a specific holiday theme for each home. Crate and Barrel from SouthCentre Mall and HomeSense provided the holiday décor.
From now until December 20, Calgarians can also visit the showhomes to see the décor themselves. They can visit Brookfield Homes’ Mosaic Cranston showhomes at 52 Cranford Drive SE and Brookfield Homes Cranston show homes at 201 Cranford Drive SE.
Bartenders from participating restaurants created a cocktail and mocktail (a non-alcoholic concoction) that match the theme of each home. The four unique holiday décor and cocktail combinations are videotaped and posted on Brookfield Homes’ Facebook page www.facebook.com/BrookfieldHomesCalgary where Calgarians are encouraged to vote for their favourite combination.
Anyone who votes on Brookfield Homes’ Facebook page is entered for a chance to win a $150 gift certificate from the restaurant who receives the most votes and an hour of private interior design consultation with Aly. Voting begins December 8, 2011 and will end on January 3, 2012.
