Without them, there’d be nowhere to rest your feet; nowhere to set your drink; nowhere to set your magazines … we’re talking, of course, about coffee tables. And so is Sonya Procenko, along with interior designer Reena Sotropa, in a fun and fashionable look at some different styles of coffee tables. In other feature stories, we go shopping for custom closets, and check out some concrete constructions that are sure to give furniture movers nightmares.
Up front, the regular trio of It’s About Choices, Builder Profile, and Community Profile open a strong edition of the magazine with articles about hardwood, as well as McKee Homes and Garrison Green.
Regular items like the Designer’s Choice floor plan of the month, Gadgets and Gizmos, Giving Back, and Around Town (where I got to follow the crowds through the Foothills Home Lottery show homes), are all accounted for, each offering a different perspective on the new home buying process.
We’ve got a great show home line-up this month, starting with the super-nice Crystal Creek Homes mansion in Monterra on Cochrane Lakes, to Broadview’s 2,443-square-foot Capri in the Pillars of Royal Oak, to Trico’s Carlton model in the new Airdrie community of Morningside.
