Golden opportunity for Stepper buyers

Shelley Williamson

Stepper Custom Homes turns 50 this month, and the family-owned Calgary home builder has never looked better. To celebrate, a birthday bash is planned for each show home location on the big day — May 13 — including launch festivities complete with a radio remote for the construction mainstay’s Boulder Creek Langdon show home, and the best part is everyone’s invited.

Chuck Stepper, marketing guru and third-generation Stepper at the family-run company says the festivities are the mainstay Calgary company’s way of acknowledging the people who kept them in business all these years, while marking the big step for Stepper.

“It is a very rare thing in this market, to be around this long. We are the oldest family-run builder in the city,” he notes.

Along with snacking on cake and pizza at the Boulder Creek, Summit of Montreux, SaddleCrest, and Copperfield show homes, visitors will have a chance to go home a winner — including a trip to Disneyland and a host of door prizes. Would-be Stepper buyers will also be treated to a one-day opportunity to purchase select anniversary-edition homes, with 15 available to start the process of building for that day only, says Chuck.

Despite its maturity, the builder will also reveal a fresh new look and logo that day in honour of the benchmark, an exciting change only to be outdone when Stepper moves to its new digs on the Country Hills Golf Course in September, says Chuck.
