Sabal parading out new models in Sagewood

Shelley Williamson

Chris Lu at Sabal Crafted Homes couldn’t say enough about a pair of new show home jewels that swung open their doors March 11 in the Hopewell neighbourhood of Sagewood in Airdrie. “These new homes are again in touch with our philosophy of being un-commonplace. The first one, the Calibre 2 is very different for us with a gallery-style kitchen, but it is still very Sabal,” says Sabal’s marketing manager of the brand-new two-storey plan.

Boasting not only “really good flow” and well-sized bedrooms, visitors will also discover a distinctly European finishing package and handsome appointments that buyers have come to expect from the builder, according to Lu.
The Embassy 2 show home is another new plan available to would-be Sagewood residents. The slightly larger 1,742-square-foot starter home, which Lu says “showcases lifestyle with a focus on open areas” is punctuated by clean lines and plenty of symmetry from the expansive main level to the upper-storey bonus space above the double garage.

“It is something that is exciting for Airdrie. We didn’t compromise who we are at Sabal — again we are pushing the envelope on design.”

Show home hours are Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends noon to 5 p.m. Sabal is currently crafting homes with double-attached front garages in Sagewood from 1,580 to 1,900 square feet, priced from the $290,000s including lot and GST.
