Lotto chances to win dream home

Shelley Williamson

The clock is ticking to get in the running for a new Jayman MasterBuilt home in the southerly community of Cranston. This year’s offerings in the Foothills Hospital Home Lottery include three Jayman show homes — the Serenity, the Onyx, and the Aurora, as well as more than 6,000 other prizes including cash, trips and electronics.

Just 93,500 ducats are on the offering block for the trio of Jayman homes — the nearly 5,000-square-foot, voice-controlled, triple-car garage abode boasting a walkout basement, master suite with a sunroom and balcony; a 2,391-square-foot, beefed-up family address with a loft and enviable master suite; and a 2,178-square-foot, three-bedroom and bonus room beauty with all the bells and whistles.

A C-note will net hopeful homeowners a chance at the digs (or three chances for $250) as well as the other impressive prizes. The proceeds are this year earmarked for a Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology Unit and diagnostic imaging technology at the Foothills hospital, that will help detect the early signs of cancer.

The deadline for the early-bird draw is April 27, with the winner being chosen May 7, while the final draw date is June 6, with a deadline for purchasing tickets of May 18 at midnight.

For more information or to buy select tickets still up for grabs (the lottery is 90 per cent sold), visit http://www.foothillshospitalhomelottery.org or call 1-888-541-5540.
