United’s Silverado galloping ahead

Shelley Williamson

United Communities is all geared up about its community of Silverado, which recently saw its sod-turning festivities at the site of the southwestern neighbour to Spruce Meadows.

Marketing director Alix Halpen says the master-planned community will focus on water conservation and boast scores of linear pathways, extensive greenspace and wet ponds throughout the 350-acre area.

Silverado’s first four phases will house 500 lots, as well as a multi-family home site and street townhomes, says Halpen. Show homes are expected to break ground in the New Year, offering plenty of choice for home shoppers and equestrian enthusiasts alike.

Builders Excel, Shane Homes, and Homes by Avi, will be crafting starter addresses, while move-up buyers will have show homes by Landmark, Lifestyle, Homes by Avi, Oasis Homes and the Sterling Group to select from. Semi-detached addresses by the Sterling Group, Baywest Homes and Morrison Homes are also planned for the first four phases.
