Marquis community winding down

Shelley Williamson

A few select opportunities are still available to would-be residents in Rocky Ridge Ranch by Marquis Communities which, now in its 10th year, offers buyers an established area with plenty of amenities already in place.

“At the Ranch Centre there is a pond, which you can use in the summer for paddle boating, and they make it into a skating area in the winter, plus there are walking paths all around the communty,” says Marguerite Jack, marketing director of Marquis Communities Development Inc.

Builders Homes by Avi, Trico Homes, Sterling and Elite Homes are still open for business in the northwesterly neighbourhood, with show homes open Monday to Thursday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends noon to 5 p.m.

Homes in the final phase are starting in the $300,000s including lot and GST, says Jack, adding walkout parcels, as well as slices facing the environmental reserve are still up for grabs, boasting 36- to 42-foot front widths. To get to Rocky Ridge Ranch head west on Crowchild Tr. to Rocky Ridge Rd., head north and follow the signs.
