Shane buyers express themselves at new design digs

Shane Homes has beefed up its design centre, more than doubling the size and selection for homebuyers making choices to adorn their Creations by Shane or Shane abode. Expressions is now open seven days a week, with Sundays devoted to browsing, says Shane Wenzel, vice-president of sales and marketing of Shane Homes.

“We pride ourselves on how well we listen to our customers and 90 per cent of the improvements came from them,” he says, adding the new digs seem to be a big hit. “We have people spending five or six hours — they are definitely coming out well informed when they go to make their selections.”

The Calgary home builder will also offer buyers a chance to get into a Shane home in Airdrie for the first time in 2006, as it branches out to build in two communities, Apex’s Morningside and Melcor’s King’s Heights. “We’ve done so well in areas like Okotoks, so now we are excited to have an opportunity to build in Airdrie,” says Wenzel.

Both Shane Homes and Creations by Shane abodes will be available in Morningside, starting from $257,000 and $195,000 respectively. Show homes by both are in the works, with a Creations parade set to open by the New Year and Shane model homes to host the public by March, the same time Shane Homes show homes will we ready for viewing in King’s Heights.
