Birchwood Properties kicks off Cougar Ridge digs
Birchwood Properties launched its single-family showhomes in Cougar Ridge last month to a successful audience — would-be buyers are chomping at the bit to get into the last phase of the “garage” homes.
“We just opened Nov. 5 and they are all ‘garage’ homes, ranging from 1,400 to 1,700 square feet, but we have over 14 variations, as well as porch-style and Jack-and-Jill (attached) homes,” says Jeannie Elrafie, sales and marketing manager for Birchwood. “We are limiting ourselves to ten sales a month, and we are already booked up to February.”
The two-storey homes are the first of their kind for Birchwood Properties, a multi-family builder and developer for the area, says Elrafie. Also on the horizon for home shoppers eyeing Cougar Ridge will be more of Birchwood’s signature stacked townhomes, set to launch some time in 2006.
Home shoppers interested in visiting Birchwood’s trio of garage homes, which can be built from the $250,000s, can do so Monday to Thursday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends noon through 5 p.m. Show homes are at the corner of Old Banff Coach Rd. and 85 St. S.W.
