Shane Homes boosts Calgary youth soccer
Shane Homes and the Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) wrapped up another successful season by hosting a kids’ soccer party. Shane Homes has always believed that sports build strong communities and has signed-on to a three-year partnership with the non-profit organization, which represents nearly 32,000 youth soccer players in the city.
Shane’s sponsorship includes mentorship programs, technical development sessions for players and coaches, jersey sponsorship and naming rights of the U-8 (under eight years old) indoor and outdoor soccer programs. At the recent U8 Indoor Soccer end-of-season party, Shane Homes handed out medals and certificates of participation to all 998 participants from 84 teams. The party also saw the children enjoying face-painting, colouring stations, Timbits and snacks.
“My son plays soccer with CMSA and as a parent attending the games and watching these kids play and socialize with other kids, I am really proud that Shane Homes is involved with CMSA and able to help out,” says Shane Wenzel, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for Shane Homes.
