Family-friendly Reunion
Nothing says family-friendly like a Reunion.
And speaking of Reunion, Hopewell’s latest community by that name just celebrated its grand opening with festivities for the whole gang, including fun for the kids, prizes and the community’s focal point’s unveiling. What would a Hopewell neighbourhood be without its trademark bronze statue? Don and Shirley Begg from Studio West in Cochrane never disappoint with their bronze art sculptures in each of Hopewell’s communities since 1998 and Reunion is no exception.
The northwest Airdrie neighbourhood—Hopewell Residential Communities’ second in the bedroom community—will be home to 758 single-family addresses when complete. In addition to the nearly six-acre park that’s home to the statue of a little girl peeking into a picnic lunch represents the Bowen family who first settled the area in the early 1900s, an open air pavilion, and BBQ spot, future church and public school sites, numerous playgrounds and a water feature are planned for the community. Calgary household names Jayman MasterBUILT and Innovations by Jayman, Excel Homes, and Hopewell’s building arm, Sabal Homes, as well as well-known Airdrie builder, McKee Homes are crafting a mixture of home styles in the well-planned family community. Would-be residents can check out their stylish wares—16 new show homes in Craftsman, Classical Prairie, and Arts and Crafts styles Monday through Thursday from to 2 p.m. through 8 p.m. and weekends and holidays, noon to 5 p.m.
