Taking the High Road

Jim Zang

A record 83 avid motorcycle lovers took part in the fifth annual three-day Trico Homes Ride For a Lifetime event in support of childhood cancer research.

The ride, which took place starting June 22 and saw bikers go from Calgary, to Nakusp, to Cranbrook, raised close to $250,000 through rider pledges, donations and sponsorships.

In five years, the Ride For a Lifetime event has raised more than $1 million. Congratulations to Trico, the Kids Cancer Care Foundation, of Alberta and all the participants, for a job well done.
