The Canadian Home Builders’ Association — Alberta (CHBA – Alberta) announced the recipients of the 2009 Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing at their annual conference in Jasper September 18-20.
Christenson Developments of Edmonton has been awarded the coveted Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year award, the first time they have won the Builder of the Year. Christenson Developments also won two additional awards at the Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing ceremony, held as part of BUILD ’09.

Other finalists for the Builder of the Year Award were Ashton Custom Homes of Calgary and Streetside Development Corporation of Calgary. Ashton Custom Homes also won two awards and Streetside Development Corporation won one award.
