The new 105,000-square-foot three-storey office, considerably dwarfs Cardel’s old building and includes an enormous design centre, a 170-seat theatre and a spacious lounge area.

It consolidates the company’s various divisions and also accommodes potential growth for Cardel Homes, Cardel Resorts and Cardel Lifestyles product lines.

It is quite an astonishing achievement, made more markedly so by the difficult economic times. “The new building stands as testament to Cardel’s astute business practices, and an ability to remain a privately owned family-run organization more than three decades after being founded,” Cardel Lifestyle President and Partner, Tim Logel, told Around Town during the gala opening on October 8.

The sprawling 10,780-square-foot design centre alone is a remarkable feature, as it showcases absolutely everything needed to give homebuyers a complete rundown of design options for their home. The theatre is for use of the whole community in exchange for contributions for charity.

Even during an evening celebrating Cardel’s achievement, the company still found a way to give back to the community, by donating $25,000 to the YWCA, an institution it has long supported.
