Hopewell Residential Communities extended their full support to renovate campsite facilities meant for kids and families affected by cancer.

The entire staff of the multi-awarded developer made the trek to Camp Kindle in Water Valley, the new Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta (KCCFA) camp, to give the facilities some much needed touch-ups. The camp caters to kids aged 3 to 20 and their families.

“We toured the camp and jumped at the chance to renovate their craft, costume and theatre areas,” says Scott Hamilton, Hopewell Residential Communities’ sales and marketing manager.

“This camp provides such a unique and vital service to the Alberta community and we could tell immediately that those rooms were where the kids would have the most fun. We wanted to make sure that we went the extra mile to provide both the staff and the kids with the best possible experience while at the camp,” says Colin Cyr, Hopewell Charitable Committee co-chair.

“There always a strong desire on behalf of the entire Hopewell team to get personally involved ‘on-the-ground’ and make a tangible difference for what we know is a very worthy cause,” Hamilton adds.
