After an arduous 10-week long competition full of grueling challenges, intense competition and hard work, Canada chose the Ausmus family (Blue Team) as the winner of a dream home, loaded with furniture, appliances and electronics — a prize package worth more than half a million dollars.

Although both teams were tied based on the judge’s votes, the Ausmus family won the majority of weekly Canadian votes, getting them out of their chilly basement and into their brand new dream home in the popular community of Mahogany in the southeast.
