New home of High River Tennis Club unveiled
Dundee Developments and the town of High River unveiled a new tennis court in the community of Montrose that marks the further strengthening of the partnership between the town and the renowned developer.
Mayor Emile Blokland, Daniel Jacobs, President of the High River Tennis Club and Michael Cowie, VP of Calgary Land for Dundee Developments (Montrose) were on-hand to open the new five-court facility in the latest phase of the new community on the southern end of High River.
“These new tennis courts won’t be just for the residents of Montrose, it’s meant for the whole town of High River to enjoy,” Cowie tells Around Town.
“With the Co-op food store about to start construction, the multifamily project well underway, the assisted living project well into the planning stages, the maturing of the river path system and not to mention the benefit of the winding waterway which dominates most single family residence’s views, we now have 5 top line tennis courts to promote this excellent sport in Montrose and High River.
