Youville gives Shane Homes props
Shane Homes’ President Shane Wenzel was honoured by the Youville Recovery Residence for Women for his company’s tireless support to this critical program that extends a helping hand to at-risk women.
A Donor Recognition luncheon and Naming Ceremony was held by to recognize some very special supporters at the group’s Elderberry recovery residence as a way for Youville to express their gratitude to their supporters.
Cathy Spackman, chair of the board of directors at Youville says, “Youville is a small agency with a big heart and we are extremely grateful to all of our supporters for opening their hearts and supporting the work at Youville.”
“The kitchen is the heart of the home, and Shane Homes has a big heart, as demonstrated by their three-year commitment to be the presenting sponsor of the Peanut Butter Classic Golf Tournament. Also, after touring one of our residences, they noticed that the rooms were in need of some repair and maintenance. Shane Homes provided over $25,000 worth of repairs at no cost. To show our appreciation, the kitchen will be named the Shane Homes Kitchen.”
Also given recognition were Tom and Alison Jackson, as well as The Peanut Butter Classic Society headed by Heather Forsyth, MLA, that organizes a women-only golf tournament in support of Youville.
