“We were just looking around the Shane Home show home in Okotoks and just entered the draw as an afterthought,” Trevor tells Around Town. “We do own a Shane home in Bridlewood, but we never really expected to win.”

Shane Homes received 805 entries to their $30,000 Dream Vacation draw, which ran from July 16 to September 30, 2011. “On October 26 we randomly drew the four finalists with the grand prize winner receiving a $25,000 Travel Voucher and $5,000 spending money and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners each receiving an ipad2,” says Shane Homes’ Dave Rickett.

The four finalists had a spin-off to determine who would pick first from four mystery briefcases and the Seipps fortunately picked the winner. “We don’t know yet where we’ll go but you can bet it’ll be somewhere warm,” Denise says.
