Hopewell’s Conway inducted in WXN Hall of Fame
Lesley Conway has done it again, as the president and resident wonder woman of Hopewell Residential Communities was among the 2011 inductees to the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Hall of Fame.
“At a time when women are making their modern mark on Canada, it’s an honour to be mentioned alongside so many other outstanding Canadian female leaders. I am a proud member and advocate of the local development and housing industry, and it’s with that same pride that I represent our industry on a national stage,” Conway says. “It’s an honour and a privilege to lead the best team in the industry at Hopewell Residential Communities, and it’s with their dedicated support that I’m able to continue to develop and grow as a person and as a leader.”
Lesley Conway has been president of Hopewell Residential Communities since 2000. She has been the recipient of WXN’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards in 2006, 2009 and 2010. She also has a great presence in the WXN Mentorship program. In 2005, she was one of Global Calgary & YWCA’s Women of Vision and in 2004 the Haskayne School of Business MAX Award winner.
Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards has become one of Canada’s most recognizable honours and is bestowed on Canada’s highest achieving female leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. To date, 584 women across the country have received this distinction, including 83 women who have gone on to be inducted into Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Hall of Fame.
