Great Prize Giveaway winners
Everyone was a winner in the recent Great Prize Giveaway joint promotion by New Home Living and Satellite City, as the winners of the draw came away with some terrific prizes from this leading satellite television sales and service provider, even as the contest significantly increased traffic to our magazine’s Facebook page.
Satellite City General Manager Barry Thomsen handed the prizes out to Best Ha of Monterey Park who won a Bell Internet turbo stick, and David Pyle of Okotoks who took home a Bell Mobility iPhone 4S.
Ha says he was just surfing on Facebook when he came across the contest and decided to enter, while Pyle says his wife saw the contest in the August issue of New Home Living magazine. “I’ve never won anything in my life so this is a very welcome surprise,” Pyle says. “It’s a great way to start Christmas,” Ha adds.
“We were able to get 463 ‘likes’ on New Home Living’s Facebook page during the contest, a pretty significant jump in traffic to our page,” says New Home Living co-publisher Richard MacQuarrie. “It helped make more people aware of our site where people can learn more about the latest in Calgary’s new home industry.”
