Sarina Homes proves you don’t have to be a big builder to be pro-active with sustainability as the small, family-run business claims to be the close to the top in handing energy rebate cash back to its customers.

“Our customers have received about $167,000 in energy rebates from the government of Alberta over the past two years, the second highest volume among homebuilders in the province,” says Sarina Homes’ President Naz Virani, who runs the company with his brother, Riyaz. “You get the contemporary home of your dreams, as well as the peace of mind of living in as sustainable way as possible.”

Sarina Homes has been building in Chestermere and in Calgary’s inner city for the past seven years and builds around 30 homes a year. Their latest show home is in 1713 34th Avenue S.W. “All our homes have Built Green upgrades for free, it’s just one of the ways we think of the environment,” Virani says.
