The full-service furniture and décor store continues to be a leading light in Calgary’s home décor market, and co-owners Julian Riley and Klari Fekete says it is their determined focus on the high-end market that has allowed them to weather the economic downturn.

“We’ve been lucky, we were doing very good during the tough economic times of the past two years, and it was because of our focus on the high-end,” Riley tells Around Town.

For their 10th year, Maria Tomas is introducing a new design software from www.lootroom.com that allows users to compose the design of their room virtually. “We have most of our products uploaded to the beta version of this design tool which allows buyers to layout their whole room from paint, floor coverings to furniture,” Riley says.
