Sabal Homes remains on the cutting-edge of design in Calgary’s new home market, and they honed that edge further with their new show homes in Mahogany and the compelling stories they tell.

The popular lake community in the southeast is the setting for Sabal Homes’ Mytique and Insignia show homes that go further than simply displaying their products. “We think of design as more than a collection of furniture and accessories,” says marketing manager Kimberley Orr. “We believe in creating an experience through our show homes for visitors to connect with and enjoy.”

The 2,101-square-foot Insignia tells the story of a couple in their mid-30s with a two-year-old boy. They want their home to be contemporary, yet inviting and kid-friendly. While the 2,442-square-foot Mystique tells the story of a couple in their late 30s with two young children, a seven-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl. They enjoy entertaining friends and family and spending their free time traveling. “The homes are designed to each tell the stories of these families.”

Additionally, the Insignia’s design concept is titled “London Calling” that brings to mind the Soho scene. It has a refined palette that conveys sophistication. Mystique has the “Pacific Mist” theme that pays homage to the serene waters of the West Coast, but with modern aesthetic.

Sabal tops off this set-up with a sales centre that offers their customers an elevated buying experience, Orr says. “After all, buyers have to spend a lot of time here, so it’s really up to us to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment.”
