CHBA – Calgary Region President Charron Ungar is president of Avi Urban, the multi-family division of Homes by Avi that was founded by his father, Avi Amir, who was also president of CHBA – Calgary Region in 1997. Avi Urban won Multi-Family Builder of the Year in 2008 through the CHBA – Calgary Region SAM awards competition.

First Vice-President Doug Whitney has a long history of involvement in the residential construction industry and the Association as a volunteer. The vice-president of sales and marketing for Crystal Creek Homes was on the SAM committee for 10 years, six as chairman.

Second Vice-President Larry Thomson was a successful high-end builder founding Thomson Luxury Living. Two years ago, he joined CalBridge Fine Homes’ owner Joe Ferraro to found Calbridge 2010 Ltd. The builder has won many awards over the years and builds in many areas in and around the city.

Wayne Copeland, sales and marketing manager of Double R Building Products Ltd., takes on the secretary/treasurer role with CHBA – Calgary Region. He has been a dedicated volunteer with the Association for many years.

Carol Oxtoby, president and CEO of Heritage Pointe Properties, becomes past president of the Association. She has served six years on the Board and brings a unique developer perspective to the CHBA – Calgary Region.
Donna Moore is CEO of the CHBA – Calgary Region, with 28 years with the Association. She brings her experience and wisdom to the executive team.
