Jayman BUILT has been recognized with the Trailblazer Award from the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). The Trailblazer Award recognizes the innovations and achievements in safety of companies from the Alberta construction industry, along with their contributions to the local communities in the region.

Jayman is a leader in many aspects of the residential construction industry in safety Initiatives and upholding site standards to protect the trades, as well as members of the public. This achievement is in large part due to Trevor Klein, Jayman BUILT Health & Safety Auditor, who is actively involved in many local and provincial safety programs, and as Chairman of several construction safety committees.

Klein received the award, with Jayman BUILT safety team member Brittny Kehoe. He says the award  is a confirmation of his core belief in the safety standards he has put in place since starting work here six years ago. “This award lets me know that we’re on the right path,” he tells Around Town. But he says the real reward is having no one get hurt while doing their job.

“We’re building homes, and no home really should have the stigma of having someone gets hurt — or worse, die — in the course of building it,” he says.
